Now a marijuana cocktail: A West Hollywood restuarant refreshing its customers with this new drink

Growing popularity of marijuana is not only influencing governments and lawmakers to force them legalization of cannabis use but also impacting businesses to catch up with the new wave of social change. A Mexican restaurant, Gracias Madre in West Hollywood and Gratitude has taken big stride to catch up with emerging Los Angeles cannabis culture by launching weed cocktails.

Bartender Jason Eisner is using 100% organic cannabinoid oil in three cocktails. The essence of the pot tincture used in cocktails is called CBD. Unlike THC, it doesn’t get you high but has medicinal effects of being anti-anxiety, anti-seizure and antipsychotic. The CBD in this particular oil is extracted from hemp stalk, not cannabis flowers, allowing it to be sold at health food store instead of dispensary.

With buttery flavour, the tincture itself is delicious and gives richness to the cocktail it is added to.  The delicious cocktail will bring you health benefits with uniquely warm fuzzy feelings. Of course, one can enjoy these cocktails as much for the taste as for the CBD.

With different ingredients blended with varying amount of CBD, every sip of these $20 cocktails offer a taste which is unique, refreshing and delicious.

The suppressed weed is now heading to become an important ingredient of peoples’ daily life, both for its medicinal efficacy and amazing taste. The cafes such as Gracias Madre show how American culture is transforming to embrace cannabis as its part.
