Wonders of cannabis oil: Just two days' treatment helped a boy with autism to speak his first words

Another proof of miraculous healing power of cannabis came when a 9 year old boy, Kalel Santiago, who was suffering from autism started speaking shortly after hemp-oil treatments.

AT the age of 10, he was diagnosed with the rare childhood cancer neuroblastoma. For more than two years he endured surgery, chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Later he was diagnosed with something rather permanent and severe: non-verbal autism.

“While he was in the hospital, we noticed he didn’t speak at all and had some behavior that wasn’t right, like hand flapping, and walking on his toes,” his father, Abiel Gomez Santiago, told from the family’s home in Aguada. “But we waited until he was 3 and cancer-free to look at his behavior.”

He and his wife Gladys did their bit to get their kid to have a normal life. They get themselves educated on autism by joining different courses; they tried different schools and therapies but it was through a fundraising event they happened upon a new treatment that did wonder for them.

They decided to try hemp oil which is rich in the compound cannabidiol (CBD) and is believed to dramatically ease symptoms of epilepsy and autism.  

They took a bottle of hemp oil and began giving their son twice a day. What followed this treatment was startling; to the surprise of them Kalel started speaking just after two days of the treatment.

Yahoo reported Kalel’s father as “You can’t imagine the emotion we had, hearing Kalel’s voice for the first time. It was amazing. The teacher recorded him and sent it to my wife and me and we said well, the only different thing we have been doing is using the CBD.”  The father went on and expressed his feelings of gratitude as, “I don’t know how to thank [the CBD oil makers].”
